Alvida [as Happy the Lawyer]

Thanks for the stopping by and for your wonderful comments.

For the awesome girls who e-mailed me with flirts ["please do not publish this but i think you are really cute...xoxoxoxoxo"]: I am actually a woman and the straight male population is divided into the braver ones who have had a declared crush on me and those who had an undeclared crush.

And never fall in love with an online persona. And rarely with an offline one. And don't spend so much time online, seriously....

For the guys who asked me with a smile "do you know who writes this blog?" I knew that you already knew but I played along to humour your small thrills. I am smarter than you, don't forget that:-)

Awkay, saw I wrote this blawg in owrdere to experiment with my writing skills, and now I plan to write in the voice of a 43 year old housewife in Delhi.

Same blog, same writer.

It will suffer to the extent that the optimal language should be Hindi here, and what will arrive will be a self-translation.

OK then bye, keep phoning, and drive safely in Holi. If you had stayed on for a few more minutes, I would have packed you some stuffed mattar parathas, they are almost ready, but you say you are in a hurry. Tea is being made in the kitchen- why don't you have tea and then go? What's the hurry? Some girlfriend? Haha. Don't think I don't know. We were also your-age once.

We would all miss Happy associate.

We would miss the cover up gossip about law firms, the kind that keeps NLS lawyers alive, if NLS lawyers had nothing to bitch about, there would be in obvilion by now.

Whilst i used to frequently drop by and catch up on the ol gossip, Happy Associate, from frankly who cares who the person behind it is, gave us a dose of the kind of stuff that happens in law firms in asia. most of all, i miss the funny experiences and observations, especially about the reference to drafts and contracts. a lot like the experiences of Dilbert, only this one is real. Bring this blog back to life whoever you are. I'm Indian by decent..and i work in McKinsey Seattle, the experiences is a lot like the garbage we see every day, partner, associate, weaselness and the occaional inturn... its funny..!!. COME BACK!!..PLEASE>>!!.

Havent run into bill at redmound, but i frequent the boys at starbucks..who are most of the time on a caffine high... I once tried asking them for tea, and got a frown back... i wonder what would they recruitment policy be..."we are a equal oppurtinuty employer and do not discriminate, race, color, creed, sexual orientation, cross dressing and disability. We respect affirmative action policies. we prefer coffee drinkers as comparared to limey british apeing tea drinkers who drink fricken tea with fricken cakes and crumpets..!. Clifford's getting a good capital markets export from india ehh, gee...wonder who it might be. Give me a clue...from Delhi or mumbai.
